Throwback Thursday Cricut-less Challenge

Hello Everyone!!!

I am so super excited to show you my project today!! I just discovered the world of COPICS!!  I love them, and I cannot wait to use them on more projects.  I found these super cute elf stamps, and I knew I had to make a Christmas card.  Generally, I don't like to skip holidays, but I knew I had to pass Thanksgiving for this Christmas card.  I also used my new iRock for the gems.  This card is full of "newness" for me, and you can expect a lot more!!

This is my first attempt at coloring with copic markers.  I did not use the right kind of ink to color with so their faces are a little smeared.  I just bought some new ink so hopefully it will help.  I am also submitting this for Emma's Throwback Thursday "old school" challenge.  I hope you like it just as much as I do!! Wedding Card

Hello Everyone!!

I know I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks.  I just haven't been in a crafty mood.  It probably has to do with graduate school and such.  Anyway, two very good friends of mine recently got married!! Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the wedding due to other obligations.  However, I wanted to send them a gift, which meant I had to make a card.

I got the instructions from Momo's first UStream class.  If you visit her blog and click on "ustream classes" you should be able to find it.  I love the fold of this card and thought it would be perfect with the patterned paper I picked up.  The paper is from a Paper Studio stack I found at Hobby Lobby.  I also found a super cute birthday stack when I was there.  Hope you enjoy my card!
