12 Days of Christmas Day 5: Oh What Fun Tags

Welcome to Day 5 of the 12 Days of Christmas!

Today I have a bunch of Christmas tags to share.  I have never made tags before because I've always been too scared to try.  I don't know why I've been scared...it's just a tag.  Maybe it's because I'm a perfectionist and have never done it before.  That's why I bought a kit.  I thought it would give me a good feel as to how to layout tags and things.

This is the "Oh What Fun" Tag kit from Stampin' Up.  Everything is included, and you make a whole bunch of tags.  They are super cute tags too.  I hope I have enough Christmas gifts to use them all.  This took no time to do.  You can order the kit and make these in time for Christmas!  It's great!

There are 10 different types of tags, and you make three of each tag.  That's a whole bunch of tags!

Here's a close up look at each of the tags.

12 Days of Christmas Day 3: To You and Yours Shaker Cards

Good Morning and Welcome to Day 3 of 12 Days of Christmas!

Today, I thought we would switch from treat holders to cards!  I am very excited to share these with you today, because these are my first shaker cards.  These cards look complex, but they're not. They were super simple.  The other great part is these cards come as a kit from Stampin' Up, so you still have time to make them and send them!!

This is the "To You and Yours Shaker Card Kit" by Stampin' Up.  It comes with almost everything you need right in the kit!  You just need the coordinating stamp set and some ink!

The cards are so adorable!  I love them so much, and I'm super excited to send them to my family and friends.  I am definitely going to try more shaker cards after doing these.  They are amazing.  I am getting more and more impressed with the Stampin' Up kits; they are getting much cuter.

Watercolor Winter

For today's project, I pulled out last year's Christmas card kit from Stampin' Up, Watercolor Winter.  These kit made four cards, five of each card.  It's a pretty good value!  You used ink refills and mixed it with water to make the watercolor portions.  It was a really cool technique that I had never done before, and I'm not very good at.  However, it was fun to try.

Here's the first card.  The trees are watercolored.  This one is my favorite.  The pops of glitter, the blues and the reds.  I really like the blue mixed in with the traditional red and green colors of Christmas.  The trees are a little dark, and the "holidays" is a little off center, but that is what makes it homemade card.  It's part of its charm.

The second card is the sleigh card.  The red sleigh is watercolored in cherry cobbler.  This card seems a little more plain that I would like, but I think it came out cute.  It's something different than I usually would do.  I like the blues in the Christmas cards.

This is the third card.  It is MUCH more plain than I usually do, but it came out okay.  The "Joyeux" is watercolored in Old Olive.  They had several different letter, and some of the cards I did used "Merry."

I didn't attempt the fourth card because I wasn't impressed with the layout.  now I have more cards to send out, and get to learn a new technique.  These kits are really neat.  They are intricate to put together, so it keeps your interest and saves a bunch of extra time.

While this wasn't my favorite kit, it certainly brought a little extra to the Christmas season.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Halloween Wreath

Hello again!!

If you follow my Instagram, you know that I created a beaded spider.  Well, that was just a teaser for this awesome Halloween wreath I am about to show you.

I am really into craft kits right now, and Stampin' Up has a lot of them.  AND, they are all super cute.  For my Halloween wreath, I used the Frightful Wreath Simply Created Kit.  It comes with (almost) everything you need to create this adorable wreath.

The only thing it doesn't come with is stamps; however, there is a coordinating stamp set.  To be honest, I did not really enjoy the stamp set that coordinated with it.  I dug around in my collection and found these adorable pumpkins and colored them with my Copic markers.

However, the cutest part was this adorable spider!  He was made with just wire and beads.  I am so happy with the way he turned out.  I almost didn't put him on here because I thought it was going to be too much work, but I am so glad I did.  He is my favorite part of the wreath!!

All in all, this is a simple, super adorable Halloween wreath.

It is going to look so cute on my office door!!  I cannot wait for my clients to see it.  I hope ya'll have an awesome rest of the week!!  Happy crafting!!
